This feature offers the possibility for your customers to quickly and effortlessly hand over their keys.
The Key locker contains 16 boxes and 2 screens. The bottom screen contains steps for its user to drop their keys.

On the start screen, the user will first have to select the reason for using the keylocker.

Welcome
The welcome screen will clearly inform the user beforehand on the steps that they need to take to successfully drop their keys.
Step 1 Authentication
If 2 factor authentication to drop key is enabled for the keylocker, then authentication is done using a PIN. Here are the different way it could be acquired:
On the confirmation pop-up that appears once the Online Check-in was validated.
On the confirmation email of an Online Check-in.
On an email sent to the driver using the same Key locker by clicking on the Registration number or Phone number in the following screen.
QR Code is not an available option for the customer, it's only usable by receptionists or mechanics.
Once a PIN is obtained, click on the PIN Code button to enter it.
Registration Number
This selection allows your customers to obtain a PIN by first indicating their registration number.
If the registration entered is matching a registration for a WO with today’s appointment date and the driver has a private or business email address, the following screen will appear.
Once he clicks Send, an email containing a PIN will automatically be sent to that email address.
Or if SMS is enabled for your dealer, the following screen will appear:
Once email or sms is selected, an email or SMS containing a PIN will automatically be sent to that email address or phone number.
Phone number
This selection allows your customers to obtain a PIN by first indicating their phone number.
If the phone number is matching the driver’s mobile phone number, private or business, of a WO with today’s appointment date and the driver has a private or business email address, the following screen will appear.
Once the customer clicks Send, an email containing a PIN will automatically be sent to that email address.
Or if SMS is enabled for your dealer, the following screen will appear:
Once email or sms is selected, an email or SMS containing a PIN will automatically be sent to that email address or phone number.
Note: During step 1, if the screen has not been touched for more than a minute, the welcome page will be displayed.
If 2 factor authentication to drop key is disabled for the keylocker, then step 1 is simply to enter the registration number or the driver’s mobile phone number, private or business.
If 2 factor authentication to drop key is enabled for the keylocker, once the PIN was entered, the information about the driver will be indicated.
An additional phone number can be added.
Once the click button the phone number will be visible and can still be modified.
If 2 factor authentication to drop key is disabled for the keylocker, then step 2 is skipped.
Step 3 Validate Appointment List
In this step, the user can validate the information about the appointment and add a remark.
Step 4 Drop your key inside box
A box will now be opened, the user will place his key inside the box and must click Confirm to successfully complete the process.
Mechanic or Receptionist picking up the key
Only an allowed user can pick-up keys, ask a manager to contact us at
support@claireit.eu to update your user permission for the keylocker if needed.
On the tablet, the mechanic will be able to see when a key was dropped thanks to a specific icon.
When opening the WO, you can see a new button that will open the QR scan.

If you are an allowed user, a security code will then be requested, if you do not have the code, you can obtain it from a Claire user with a Dealer Admin role within your organization.
A pop-up will appear, below the instruction you will see the name of the Keylocker where the key was dropped.
Then go to the keylocker, as indiicated in the above modal, click the Pick up key option, on welcome screen.
On the following screen, click Next
Then click the QR Code button.
Once you clicked QR Code, the following screen will appear. Simply use his tablet to scan the QR code on the locker's screen. It was created exclusively for that instance and can only be scanned from the tablet who requested it.
If QR is not scanned within 30 secondes it will close automatically.

Select the contact that will receive the pin code.
Note: if your location cannot send SMS, its not be possible to select a phone number, and a drivers without email are not listed.
Then go to the keylocker, click the option to Drop key, on welcome screen click Go then click the QR Code button.

Once the key is dropped back a PIN will be communicated to driver by email or SMS.
The button with the key icon will be available for the receptionist to retrieve the key. Once you entered the security code you will get the following screen:
Then go to the keylocker, click the Pick up key option, on welcome screen click Go then click the QR Code button.

Once user click Confirm button, the following screen will appear.
Integrated to Claire
On the Main page
Once the customer has dropped his keys an icon will appear next to the WO on the main page, the workorder will then be moved on the top of the list. The color of the field for driver/owner/contractor should now be blue whether because of an Online check-in was answered previously or because the Keylocker is now answered.
Note: If the key was dropped on a date that is different that the appointment date, the appointment will be pinned.

On the appointment page, the timeline will indicate the car is in the shop and the key was dropped down and key picked up. You can also see any new phone number or remark added by the customer.
You can also share the remark to the mechanics. Click the button indicated by the red arrow in the image below.
The following modal will open, simply toggle on the button on the left of Visible to Mechanic.
Once is done, mechanics will see it on the appointment overview.
If hover over the event will expand to show in which Box # the key was dropped.

You can see in the timeline when the key was dropped back.
You can also see when the key was picked up.

For Key dropped
A new tab will appear indicating that a PIN was sent.
At any time, customers can abort the process by clicking the x button to reach the following screen to confirm.
At any point, customers can request for help. The help screen will provide some insightful information but if it's not enough the user can click the Call For Help button for a notification to be sent to the users the Claire web application for that location.
In Claire, for your location, you will see the following.
You can click on it to indicate that you will handle the request for help(1) or disregard it (2). The difference between the two is that the first one will close the notification for all other users for your location and the second only the one for you.
