In V8, we only work from the interventions, because these are visible in customer communications. Therefore, we have the option to link checklist items to interventions. This allows the service advisor to make a connection between an intervention and an item found during the check. So that photos and videos taken by the mechanic during the inspection are visible in customer communication.
How it works
After the mechanic performs a check, the status of the work order changes to Check Ready. The service advisor can now connect the found necessary and advised items to interventions.
Step 1: For a work order where a checklist has just been done, the checklist tab has appeared. Click the plus sign behind an item and select Connect to intervention.
Step 2: After this, the screen to link the item to an intervention opens. Click on the link icon behind an intervention.
Step 3: After the item is connected, the intervention moves to the bottom of the intervention field. You can see from the advice icon that an item has been connected.
Photos and videos taken by the mechanic are now visible on the intervention. Click on the attachment icon to see them.
When sending the diagnose summary, the photos and videos taken are visible to the customer.
On the checklist, the plus-icon has changed to a link-icon for the items which are converted.
You can only link one item to one intervention.
Check if an item is connected
You can check whether an item is connected to an intervention by clicking on the status icon.
Then Claire only shows the checklist with the item connected to the intervention.
Disconnecting an item
When a checklist item is connected to an incorrect intervention, you can detach it in the following way.
Click the plus sign behind the intervention and select Disconnect checklist.
A pop-up for confirmation appears, click Confirm.
The connection is now undone.
