This dashboard allows your team to publish your own documentation to your team.
Access
The feature can be accessed from the hamburger menu, under the name Dealer Documentations.
Publishing a documentation
You can publish a documentation by clicking on the green Add button on top right corner.
Then the following screen will appear.
Title: A title must be entered.
Category: A category must be selected which will help the reader to narrow down results when using the category filter.
Dealers/Locations : You must select at least one location where the users can view the documentation.
Publish date: You have the option to enter a publish date.
If the date was removed, no other users than you can view this documentation.
Visible for Mechanic: By turning on the toggle button, the documentation will be displayed on the Documentation page on tablets.
Body: You must enter something in this section in order to save the documentation.
Drag And Drop Box: You can drag and drop one file only that will be available for the reader to view.
Modifying a documentation
You can only modify a documentation if you have a role equal or higher than its author by clicking on the edit button on its right side.
Deleting a documentation
On the edit documetation screen, if you are the author or have a higher role than the author you can see the red button in left bottom corner. Simply click on it and conrfim to permanently deleting it.
Viewing a documentation
On Desktop
Click anywhere for the following modal to open in a read only format.
On tablet
The mechanic can access Documentation on the WO overview and while performing a check, click the three dots icon in the left corner and select Documentation from the dropdown.
The Documentation page will open, simply click the document you wish to read.
On the documentation, the mechanic can click the arrow button to view the attached document.
