The Manufacturer role is a read-only account and only allows access to the manufacturer dashboard, the appointment detail page and the car detail page. The user must be set to a dealer and a location assigned to the Manufacturer roles.

By default, the manufacturer dashboard is the landing page for the Manufacturer role. In addition, you can find the page with another role in the left-hand menu.
WO are requested based on the Claim number. In the dashboard, the receptionist sees only WO to which the manufacturer has requested access.

Requesting access
The manufacturer can request access via the Add button.
When clicked, it opens a pop-up with a search bar in which the WO can be searched by claim number.
After searching, click on a workorder to request access.
Then a pop-up appears that asks to enter a reason for the request.
After entering a reason, click Continue te send the request. On the dashboard a blue question mark icon appears behind the requested work order. This means that a user from the dealer/location must review the request.
If the request is approved, the icon changes to a green checkmark. When you hover over the icon, the expiry date of this approval appears and you can click on the WO and Reg number.
If the request is declined, the icon changes to a red cross. When you move over the icon, the reason why the request is declined appears.

When the manufacturer opens an workorder or cardetail page, he can only add notes to pinned interventions. Everything else is in read-only mode, so he cannot edit/add/delete anything else.

The access granted to the manufacturer expires after 30 days.
Accept/decline request
A user with at least the role receptionist can approve or decline a request. This can be done by clicking on the factory icon at the top right of the appointment list, this will navigate to the manufacturer dashboard. The number indicates how many requests are open.
In the Manufacturer dashboard, click on a workorder with the blue question mark icon. When hovering over it, it shows the person that filed the request and the reason why.
A pop-up will then open where you can approve or decline the request.
No reason is required to approve the request, but it is mandatory to give a reason for declining the request.
In the pin log will be logged who granted access when to which manufacturer.
