¨I need help¨ button for the mechanic

If the mechanic gets stuck or is blocked while working through the checklist, they can use the "I Need Help"-button to request assistance from the receptionist or workshop manager.

Activating

Open the Extra Parts checklist on the workorder.



On the first question, click on the necessary icon to activate the button. Add your question/remark in the note field and click on Done.


Finish the Extra parts checklist to send your request to the receptionist/workshop manager.

How does the receptionist see this question?

After requesting help through the Extra Parts, the work order is placed at the top of the appointmentlist, with the mechanics name highlighted in red:


How can the receptionist handle the query?

The desktop user now opens the workorder and sees the request from the mechanic.



To indicate that the issue has been resolved, the receptionist must change the status of the question from Critical to Skipped.


When that is done, on the apppoinmentlist, the workorder moves down to tis normal spot (sorted by WO status) and the mechanics name returns to normal.
