Tires elements

Tire elements are set of features that are interconnected to make activities related to tires completely aligned with the Claire processes. These are their main functionalities:
  1. Performing diagnoses trough tires questions
  2. Reviewing the outcome and preparing the offer to the client
  3. Sending the offer using Customer Communication (Optional module)
  4. Repairing, replacing and swapping tires
Performing these tasks using the tires element will synchronize information to other features such as the DBB feature or module like Customer Communication.

Performing the Tires questions

Similar to other standard questions, the tires question must be included in a checklist/control in order for mechanics to perform on their tablet. The checklist needs to be done before any replacement/swap. It should be seen as the diagnose of the current status of tires before any activities are done on it. It retains the same behaviour as standard questions (for example: status must be selected and pictures or videos can be added).

The above screen can be pre-filled by a previous appointment or by a third party such as DBB. If not: 

When no season is selected, you have access to all references in the dropdown. You can either select a season to list tires for that season or select a reference to have the season automatically selected. If a season filter is selected you can press it again to deselect it.   

Selection of the profile automatically changes the status, which can also be changed manually (for example: in order to skip the diagnose of tires in storage, simply use X button).

Note that by completing any LEFT tires, the RIGHT tires will be automatically be pre-filled with the same value. You can also use the copy button to autofill the information.

Rear tyre copy button will copy from the other rear tyre if filled in already, otherwise from the front tire of the same side.

If you do not find the reference you are looking for in the dropdown you can enter manually a reference by pressing the + button. Keep in mind that this manually entered reference will not be added to the list nor pushed to the third party service such as DBB. Our support team will take over adding this reference and might contact you for additional information.

Communicating result of tires diagnoses

Like for other checklist being completed, results will be visible on the appointment details page.



Adding a replacement

To add a replacement, simply click the blue circle on the right of the position for the Add replacement modal to open to make a selection.

Since version 7.19,  it is possible to offer replacement tires for the storage tires.

Sending the offer using Customer Communication (Optional module)

In case, multiple replacements were offered to the customer, keep in mind that only one can be selected by your customers.
If multiple checklists with Tire Question were performed during the same appointment only the result of the last one will be shown.

Repairing, replacing and swapping tires

If a tire position is marked as Customer OK it will be listed under Claire interventions in the Car Overview screen.


Repairing and replacing tires

By expanding the item in the Car Overview screens, you will be given two possibilities:
  1. The tire is set to be fixed
  2. The tire is set to be replaced
In each case detail information would have been provided.

Swapping tires

You can access swap tire option by using the button indicated below in the Car Overview screen.


However, the following reminder will appear when mechanic clicks the End Car Final Check button.


  Note: No matter what you answer in the reminder pop-up you will always be able to open the swap tire screen again using this button in the Car Overview screen. 

Swap tires screen:

First green button is to swap front and rear tires.
Second green button is to swap On car and In Storage.
Once swap is confirmed, information will be pushed to DBB.
