Quick start with Claire - Mechanic

Quick start with Claire - Mechanic

If you log in to Claire and open the App, on the Home screen you will see all the work orders for that day.
If you need help or more information, press the icon with ? and you will immediately be taken to Claire's helpdesk.
You can search for registration number or WO number at the top, but you can also directly open your WO by clicking on it.

When the WO opens you will come to the WO detail page with more information about the car and the Interventions the car is used for.
At the top right you will find several icons. The most important is the checklist icon, where you will find all the checklists.

Below is a list of all checklists available in Claire:

Finishing the checklist:
  1. Green: good
  2. Green + comment: item is good, but you want to add extra text, photo or video.
  3. Orange: Advicepoint - It's not immediately necessary but contributes to the driving behaviour, comfort and safety of the car.
  4. Red: Necessary - it's irresponsible to continue driving and needs to be fixed.
  5. Grey: Checkpoint not applicable.

When you get to the end of the checklist, you will see the 'End of check' button.

The reception will now make a quotation based on the additional work found by the mechanic.
When these have been approved by the customer, the icon Customer ok appears:

This overview shows on which advice and necessary points the reception has received approval from the customer.
The mechanic can now carry out the work.

If you have added extra liquids afterwards, you can enter these by means of the extra parts option.
This can be updated until the car is reported ready!
The extra parts button is located at the top right of the work order image as shown in image below:

If the mechanic uses the extra parts function, the status of the work order will not change and the service advisor does not have to give Customer OK.

Reporting work completed in the meantime:

The mechanic can report his work finished in the meantime by clicking on the icon with the two check marks in the top right corner of the screen. The status will not change to 'car ready' until all work has been completed. By reporting the car ready, you communicate directly with the reception about the progress of the work.
