Removing a checklist from a workorder

Removing a checklist from a workorder

You can remove a checklist from a workorder, in case mechanic accidentally did a check on a wrong car or picked the wrong checklist.

Here are the criteria you have to meet in order to be able to remove one or more checklist(s):
  1. Having Dealer Admin privilege
  2. The checklist you want to remove is the last performed on the workorder
  3. The workorder is in Car check status.
Therefore, only users with Dealer admin privilege can delete the checklist from the workorder when the status is set to Car check and they can only delete the last checklist performed.

When all criteria are met, you will be able to see a button with a trash can icon on the intervention bar in the workorder (as indicated by the red arrow in the image below).

Once you clicked it, a confirmation pop up will appear.

Once you confirmed it, the checklist is removed from the workorder.

If the checklist removed was the only checklist performed, the workorder status will return from Car check to New car status.
Reload the workorder page: In order to see the details of that checklist being removed from the progress bar, you have to reload the page. Also, delete button won’t appear on the new last checklist until it's done. You can do it by refreshing the page or closing the workorder page and going back.
