Using the icon filters (V8)

Using the icon filters (V8)

The icon filters in the appointment list are useful for filtering appointments, increasing the overview and making differentiation easier.

Access

You can find the icon filters in the appointment list near the headers, as shown below:

Meaning icons

  1. Star: Indicates a VIP customer.*
  2. Dollar sign: Indicates that the customer has fulfilled the payment.
  3. Shopping cart: All required parts have been prepared by the warehouse employee.
  4. Pin: Appears when an intervention is marked.
  5. Exclamation mark: Appears when the same car has been in the workshop more than once in the last four weeks.
Info
*The star has no fixed meaning; the meaning depends on what your location has assigned to it.

Adding icons

Star, shopping cart and dollar sign

Step 1:
Open a work order and navigate to the icons (see image below):

Step 2:
Click on the dropdown of the desired icon and select a colour. Click again on the icon with the same colour to remove it.

Alert
The dollar sign does not have different colours and therefore does not have a dropdown.

This icon will now appear in the appointment list, under the icon filters column.

Shopping cart filter

There are different colored shopping carts available, which can be activated in the Account settings. Here are their meanings:
  1. Green shopping cart: All parts are ready today.
  2. Blue shopping cart: Some parts are arriving today. Add a note with the expected arrival time.
  3. Orange shopping cart: Parts will be available the next day.
  4. Red shopping cart: Parts have been ordered. Add a note with the expected arrival time.
  5. Yellow shopping cart: Ordered parts have arrived.
When two or more shopping cart colors are enabled in the account settings, a dropdown filter replaces the shopping cart icon. Here you can filter on the different shopping cart colors.

Logic of icon filters

The dollar sign filters all appointments where the dollar sign is activated.
Example: If you have assigned the meaning of "customer has paid" to this notification, you can display all appointments/work orders that have not been paid yet.

Once you click on any of the last four icons in the header, the icon turns green, and the appointment list is refreshed to show all appointments that contain the respective icon, which will be displayed in green in the filter.
Example: If you activate the star and pin icons, you will see appointments for VIP customers and appointments with an intervention that has a comment.

If you activate the dollar sign and one or more of the last four icons in green, all appointments with the last four icons will be shown, but without the appointment with the dollar sign.
Example: If you click on the dollar sign, the pin icon, and the shopping cart, the appointments with a note and the appointments with a part available will be shown, but only the appointments that have not been paid yet.
