VW One Connect Workspace (OCW)

VW One Connect Workspace (OCW)

OCW is a Volkswagen application where customers (drivers/owners) can connect their car with their on phone. In Claire there will be an OCW button shown on Volkswagen workorders. This is integrated in Claire through the PON API and provides us the following data: The current mileage and if the car is connected.

How it works?

The PON API credentials are needed:
  1. PON username
  2. PON password
If these are already provided, the OCW button will be visible in the workorder detailpage.

The button has 3 different colours in Claire:

Grey - The car does not have the function to connect with OCW

Red - The car can be connected with OCW, but it is not activated*

Green - The car is connected to OCW

Orange - The car is in maintenance mode

Info
*If the Customer is not connected, the receptionist can help the customer to activate and setup his account and download the app.
This can be done by clicking the OCW button on the workorder and opening the Volkwagen portal in a new tab:

If the car is already connected with OCW, an intervention will be added on the workorder. This will explain to the customer that the car will be disconnected during service for safety reasons:

The intervention is written back to the DMS if DMS writeback is enabled.

OCW Mileage

By hovering over the green OCW button the current mileage will be provided:

The mileage is written back to the DMS if it is higher then the DMS mileage and writeback is enabled. It gets updated every 30 minutes when:
  1. Opening the workorder on tablet or desktop
  2. Mileage can be updated in every status until Car Ready
