Sending a Repair Overview to a client
As part of the Customer Communication module, this new feature allows you to inform your client on the final outcome of the appointment that has been completed on his vehicle.
The report will provide the following information:
- General information about the appointment
- Date or km that the next maintenance is due
- Repair overview - fixed items
- Items that were not fixed
- Checked items that work properly
- Customer bill (If added)
Steps to send a Repair Overview
Step 1
Click the customer communication button once the status of the appointment is Car ready.
Step 2
Select the interventions that you wish your customer to be able to view on the reports, by greening the eye icon on the left of the intervention. Once ready, click the Preview button in the bottom right corner.
Step 3
A page will appear showing a preview of Repair Overview. On it, you can Download the report and/or Send it to the customer by clicking one of the green buttons on the top right corner.
As of version V7.10.30, these two new icons on the appointment details page will indicate you that a repair overview was sent:
Note: Once the report is communicated to the client, the customer communication button will change appearance and with the PDF button on its left you can download the report at any time:
Sending an automated repair overview
To save rceptionists time, it is possible to activate the location setting to automaticly send the repair overview, when:
- The mechanic marked the car as ready (status Car ready)
- The quality check is done (status Quality check)
*The customer needs to have an emailadres.
